Continue to SimpCity ForumsWhat the SimpCity forums are for
SimpCity is a forum community. The SimpCity forums are where that community keeps score: announcements from staff, everyday lounge talk, creator and request threads, and a members-only archive. Each of those jobs has a board so a request does not bury a maintenance notice, and a 200-reply chat thread does not push a rules post off the first page.
People come back to forums because a thread is a permanent address for one subject. A social chat scrolls away. A SimpCity thread can still be searched by its title months later. That only works if new posts join the existing thread instead of cloning it.

Announcements and changelog
Read-mostly boards. Staff explain rule changes, downtime, and anything that affects every other board. Reply only when the post asks for confirmation or a question. If your topic is “I cannot log in”, it does not belong here — use the Help Center.
Lounge, introductions, and trending
General discussion is the front door for people who are new to SimpCity. Introductions is one post: who you are and what you hope to find. The lounge is for talk that has no better home. Trending is where busy threads surface, which makes it a good place to learn how regulars actually write before you copy a style from somewhere else.
Requests and creator boards
These are the boards that fall apart first if everyone opens a new thread. Look for a pinned weekly megathread and put one clear subject in a reply. Open a fresh thread only when the topic is too large for a single reply and search shows that nobody has started it. Creator spotlights are for recommendations and roundups, not for repeating a request that already has a home.
Private members archive
Longer, quieter threads live behind the members entry. Treat them as an archive you add to carefully. If a public thread already covers the topic, link or continue there instead of pasting the same request into the private boards. Enter through the private members forum.
Build a thread people can find
The title does most of the work. Use the name or topic a stranger would type into search. Skip all-caps, emoji strings, and labels like “help” or “look here” that could describe anything. The first post should state the subject, what you already checked, and what you still need. Later replies should add a fact, a correction, or a real answer.
- One subject per thread. A second subject gets its own title or a reply in the megathread.
- Edit your own post if you need to add a detail. Do not triple-post the same request.
- Quote a short line when you reply to someone specific in a long thread.
- If the thread is pinned, read it before you add to it. The instructions are usually in the first post.
- If staff close a thread, leave it closed. The replacement is almost always linked in the closing note.
Registration on the live boards
simpcity.school cannot create your forum login. The account is created on the live SimpCity forums at simpcity.cr after you use the entry button. You will be asked for a username, a password, and whatever confirmation step the forum is using that day. Finish that step before you test posting. A half-finished account looks like a broken login later.
Use a password that is not your email password. Write the username down exactly, including dots and underscores. If the page offers a display name separate from the login name, remember which one you type at the door. Lost-login help starts in the Help Center, then continues with the recovery tools on the forum itself.
After the account exists
- Open announcements and read anything pinned in the last few weeks.
- Read the forum rules and the FAQ if this is your first forum.
- Search the word you were going to put in a title.
- Reply in the existing thread if search found one. Start a thread only if it did not.
- Use Telegram only for alerts you do not need to archive. The record stays on the SimpCity forums.
